Last week our story was A Walk In The Desert. The students wrote descriptive paragraphs about the desert, researched a desert animal and typed some interesting facts, worked on how to correct a fragment to make it a complete sentence, and enjoyed reading with a buddy. Our spelling words had inflected endings, and in grammar we identified statements and questions.
The students enjoyed learning about desert animals.
