PUMPKINS!
The 2nd graders read the story Life Cycle of a Pumpkin a couple of weeks ago. They made their own pumpkin craft that showed each stage of a pumpkin as it grows. They were then able to retell the life cycle of a pumpkin using their own pumpkin to demonstrate. We also made pumpkin pie one day in class and got to eat it- we took a poll and there are a few 2nd graders who LOVE pumpkin!
