A Turkey for Thanksgiving

We buddy read A Turkey for Thanksgiving.

 

 

 

 

We played Boggle with our spelling words.

 

 

We watched a Brain Pop movie on long 'a' and played their interactive games. We also practiced our spelling words on Spelling City.



 

We wrote an opinion writing. Pretending we were a turkey, we wrote about what would be a better choice to serve at Thanksgiving dinner.

John brought his dog to meet his classmates.

Field Trip to the Aquarium and the Insectarium

Taking a walk down the river with Mrs. Brierre 

The students worked together on a scavenger hunt through the aquarium.

We touched a sting ray.

We enjoyed seeing all of the sea life in the aquarium tunnel.

 The rain forest had many birds, fish, and even a snake.

 We saw seahorses and learned the male seahorse carries the babies.

The Insectarium was also fun with many things to see.

Some of us even ate an insect!
