• H brothers BrainPop Jr. on the I pads
• Venn Diagrams comparing ants and people
• Researching a colony of ants using a dictionary, encyclopedia, and a book
• ABC order with the weekly spelling words
• A reading scavenger hunt looking for h brother words

STeaM Lab Project

The second graders are currently working on a design project in the STeaM Lab. We have been chosen to decorate the St. Martin's Christmas tree in City Park for Celebration in the Oaks. We are teaming up with 3rd grade for this task. We had our first brainstorming session in the STeaM Lab to present the task to the students. They shared ideas with one another and voted on a theme. Then they brainstormed what type of materials would be weather proof before they begin designing ornaments. Stay tuned.....
