Frogs
We studied adjectives this week in grammar. We played a sorting game where we sorted nouns, verbs, and adjectives.
We partner read our weekly story Frogs.
We continued learning coding on code.org. We also practiced our math skills on IXL.
We had free choice journal this week. We wrote some very creative journals.
In reading groups, we learned more about frogs.
We used Spelling City to practice our spelling words for the spelling test.
We drew a frog with craypas for our descriptive paragraphs.
We wrote an eight sentence descriptive paragraph on a frog or toad. We used adjectives to describe a frog or toad.
We also used adjectives to describe our Mardi Gras floats we created in computer.
